Tuesday, October 19, 2004 AD How Do I Assign a Drive a New Letter Designation? My external hard drive is coming up in My Computer as the H drive. But the H drive is supposed to be a network drive, so now I can't access both of them, which is a Bad Thing, man. I want to rename the hard drive as E (formerly my ZIP drive, which I've now unplugged) or maybe G. I know I've done this in previous versions of Windows. Is it possible in XP?
