Faux Pas
I got an e-mail from Paulo this morning saying he was going to be meeting some other Baltimore bloggers at Harborplace for lunch at noon. So I scampered over there, arriving at about 5 minutes late, and spent 15-20 minutes searching for Pau. Finally I gave up and was going to head back when he, having arrived late, spotted me and we joined the rest of the group. The introductions went very quickly, so I missed a couple names, but I caught Dean and Amy McK, and Daniel Bergey. That's when I made my big faux pas. I said to Daniel, "Oh, your son Steve reads my blog." Of course Stephen is Daniel's brother, not his son, and Daniel was quick to point that out. Duh! So I said, "OK, then, some young male personage of your relation." But I felt pretty dumb, anyway. So now y'all can go ahead and laugh at me. :-p
